When Katrina Svensen, being an average person with unaverage kindness, leaves a cup of coffee, some pastries and a bag of chocolate-covered coffee beans outside her grandmother's coffeeshop for a homeless guy in the alley, she never expected that the man would be an angel. An angel who wears kilts, is stunningly cute, and because of her "kind deed" the adorable wanderer, called Malcom, has to "fulfill her greatest desire".

But Katrina doesn't know what she wants, and after two messed-up wishes, how can she tell him she wants him more than anything?

I ah-dored Coffeehouse Angel! It's light, fluffy, sweet and generally adorable... like a literary cupcake.

Malcom was so adorably clueless, and Katrina was really well-developed. The book made me cry at parts, and it also made me laugh. I wanted to just hug it or something (I know that sounds weird... I mean I love it ;))

My only complaint is that some of the characters just weren't developed enough. I really would have liked it if we knew at least a little more about Vincent or Elizabeth, seeing as they were main characters. Elizabeth came off, at least to me she did, as a boy-obsessed girl who didn't care enough about her friend Katrina enough to help her and stop talking about "Face", as she calls her crush, to help save the coffeehouse. And other times, Elizabeth's personality

While on the subject of characters, as much as I liked this book, I sometimes felt like I was reading about third graders. They were extremely immature at times, which bothered me. For instance: Katrina did this weird passive-agressive thing about a potato farmer after Vincent betrayed her... Odd.

Other than that, it was a delicious read, and I fully recommend it!

Peace out, Meggin
